A local team, from Cusco to Machu Picchu
We plan and operate every trip ourselves: guides, cooks, porters, transport and tickets.
We are a local operator born in Cusco. Our guides, cooks and porters come from the communities along the trails you will walk.
Machu Picchu From Cusco was born from guides who grew up walking the trails of the Sacred Valley, Mollepata and Ollantaytambo. Today we design and operate treks, cultural tours and complete packages across southern Peru.
We keep groups small, pay our porters and horsemen fairly, respect load limits and carry first-aid kits and emergency oxygen on every departure.
We work with local suppliers and follow the ESNNA code of conduct against the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents in tourism.

A registered, licensed operator
We are registered with the Regional Directorate of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Cusco and issue electronic invoices for every booking.
